# First-run tutorial — Intrikata Topology

**Host:** https://topology.intrikata.com
**This page:** https://topology.intrikata.com/onboard.md · https://topology.intrikata.com/tutorial.html
**Audience:** a human or agent opening the graph workspace for the first time.

This is a **product tutorial** for the Topology app. Skills install is a separate path (`/install.md`). The console that provisions a minimal isolated operant is [intrikata.com/tutorial.html](https://intrikata.com/tutorial.html).

---

## What this site is

`topology.intrikata.com` is the **Intrikata Topology graph workspace**: browse, edit, analyze, and export knowledge graphs.

| You are… | What you see | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous | Shared **Tutorial** datastore | Read, pan, zoom, inspect nodes |
| Signed in | Your own copy of the tutorial data | Create graphs, edit, import, share |
| Console instance | Separate 7-graph D1 operant on intrikata.com | Name search + provision JSON; not this full IDE |

A “Connection lost” banner means the live API origin is unreachable. The UI still loads; graph data will be empty or stale until Reconnect succeeds.

## 6-minute path

### 1. Open the workspace

Go to https://topology.intrikata.com/
If the first-run overlay is hidden, click **Tutorial** in the toolbar, press `?` then pick Getting Started, or reopen `?tutorial=1`.

### 2. Open the Getting Started graph

Anonymous users should already have datastore **Tutorial** and graph **Getting Started with intrikata-topology**.

1. Use the datastore / graph list on the left
2. Open **Getting Started with intrikata-topology**
3. Click a node — properties open on the right
4. Drag the canvas to pan; scroll to zoom; `F` fits the view

Nodes in that seed are Concepts, Tools, and Actions. They are a map of the product, not your data.

### 3. Learn the three moves

| Move | How |
|---|---|
| Select / inspect | Click a node |
| Create (signed-in) | `N`, or **+ Add Node** |
| Connect (signed-in) | Drag from a connection point, or `C` |
| Help | `?` or the **?** button |

Unsigned visitors cannot persist writes. If a button looks dead, sign in first.

### 4. Sign in for a writable copy

Use **Sign In**. Topology emails a one-time code — the same process as [intrikata.com/login](https://intrikata.com/login). No password. After the code:

1. **Profile** — display name (prefilled from your console handle when this browser already has one)
2. **Organization** — the workspace you share; you can add more later from the account menu

Then you get a writable copy (tutorial schema and seed). **+ Add Node**, Import, and New Graph persist.

If you only wanted to look, stay anonymous. Open **Profile** or **Organizations** from the account avatar at any time.

### 5. Create or import your own graph

After sign-in:

```text
New Graph  →  pick or create a datastore  →  name the graph
```

or **Import** (CSV / JSON) from the toolbar.

Export lives on the selected graph (**Export**, or Graph Actions).

### 6. Optional: isolated console operant

If you want a **minimum** seven-graph instance (megapraxis machinery only, no operator project graphs):

1. Open https://intrikata.com/tutorial.html
2. gold coach (5 steps): `instance new <handle>` → `profile set Your Name` → `org new <name>` → optional `bootstrap` → `operant`
3. `provision` downloads JSON you can import here

The console is not a substitute for this IDE.

## Local server (operators)

A full local Topology is `server.py` on `http://127.0.0.1:8080` (use the IPv4 loopback, not `localhost`). The public site does not automatically become that local process.

To attach a local origin to the HTTPS console, use the origin-bridge control plane on the local server and the console session id. See https://intrikata.com/tutorial.md § Local full Topology.

## Skills (separate from this UI)

The workspace is the app. Two skill packages, not one:

| Package | Host | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Topology plugin (37 skills) | this site [`/install.md`](https://topology.intrikata.com/install.md) | graph IDE, MCP, Cloudflare deploy |
| Intrikata Stack (4 skills, package **1.7.0**) | [docs.intrikata.com](https://docs.intrikata.com/) | megapraxis (L1 briefing), metamegapraxis (**53-trap** audit), megametapraxis (envelope-drift loop), praxis-local-realize |

Stack skills do **not** install from this plugin. After a `/metamegapraxis` audit, `/megametapraxis snapshot` writes the validated envelope the per-prompt hooks diff. Distance *to* the Tarski limit is UNDECIDABLE (never a number). Standing core-5: unknown-unknowns · true-lens-independence · fixed-point-vs-plateau · state-validity-horizon · converged-vs-correct.

- Topology plugin: https://topology.intrikata.com/install.md · https://topology.intrikata.com/llms.txt
- Stack loop cert: https://docs.intrikata.com/demo/megametapraxis.json
- Console pointer: https://intrikata.com/data/megametapraxis.json

Plugin marketplace installs need a full Claude Code **app** restart (not a new session).

**Tarski residual:** whether every future harness auto-registers Topology MCP is product-side (oracle-required). Remaining semantic completeness is UNDECIDABLE. This tutorial only claims the browser workspace path above is sufficient to see and (after sign-in) edit graphs. Do not upgrade that claim to CTL-converged.
